Award-winning filmmaker Corinne van der Borch established Wondertime Films in order to create ‘ordinary magic’, by collecting intimate stories and visuals, which can easily go unseen. She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Corinne has worked with Albert Maysles and Alan Berliner committed as consulting editor on her first feature length film 'Girl with Black Balloons'. Her latest documentary project – currently in development – was chosen to participate in the IDFA Summer School 2011.
She has worked as a researcher, writer, editor cinematographer and producer on several commercial non-fiction projects in Amsterdam, New York, London, Hanoi and Berlin for clients such as Unilever, Microsoft, Canon, Heineken and the Bill Gates Foundation.
Her work has “honest simplicity and integrity,” as the Jury stated when awarding her the Grand Jury Prize at DOC NYC.
